JOHN HEAVEN :: PRESIDENT & CEO
John Heaven
John Heaven, President & CEO of YANGAROO, brings over 20 years of strategic financial and entrepreneurial experience to YANGAROO. He is responsible for the company's over-all vision and financial direction. Heaven's professional history includes three successful start-ups and two successful IPO's for industry leading companies in the technology space.

Prior to YANGAROO in 1981, Heaven co-founded Coesyl Ltd., a software company, where he was responsible for strategy, product design, financial management and marketing. Subsequent to Coesyl Ltd, Heaven held the position of Chief Financial Officer and Director for Telepanel Systems Inc. ("Telepanel"), where he was instrumental in successfully taking the company public. Heaven helped Telepanel grow from a fledgling concept to the world-leading electronic shelf label company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and NASDAQ with $10 million on sales. In his role as CFO, Heaven carried out a broad range of executive responsibilities, including sourcing and/or structuring a variety of private and public financings, implementing all accounting and manufacturing management systems, and developing and implementing a global direct sourcing strategy for manufacturing, including the establishment of Malaysian assembly facilities. He was also responsible for investor and shareholder relations, regulatory compliance, taxation planning and compliance, intellectual property management, internal and external financial reporting, and financial planning and management.

Heaven is a Chartered Accountant and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree (magna cum laude) from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Toronto.
CLIFFORD G. HUNT :: CHAIRMAN & COO
Clifford G. Hunt
Cliff Hunt, Chairman, Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer, brings over 25 years of experience in the music industry, to YANGAROO. Hunt's extensive background includes a stint as a recording artist and touring musician before shifting to the business side of the industry. Hunt is responsible for driving market penetration and overall strategic development planning for YANGAROO.

Prior to YANGAROO, Hunt worked with some of Canada's most successful artists both domestically and internationally. Some of the artists he has worked with include Juno Award winner Lydia Taylor (A&M), Triumph (Virgin/ EMI), Refugee, (Polygram), Zon (Epic), The Diodes (CBS), and most recently Juno nominee Wendy Lands (EMI), and Juno winners, The Killjoys (Warner Music). Over the past 15 years, Hunt has negotiated over 35 major Canadian and international record deals and was instrumental in co-ordinating world-wide tours for his artists.

Prior to YANGAROO, Hunt was co-founder and partner in Hunt the Sandman, Inc, an artist management and record production company. He began his career as an agent for Concept 376 Ltd. He played a critical role in booking some of the top concert artists of the day such as, The Guess Who, The Stampeders, April Wine, and Lighthouse. Hunt also launched and founded his own record production and management company, Hunt Management Inc. to develop, promote and manage recording artists.

Hunt was also Associate Producer for the Canadian National Exhibition Grandstand Shows, which included some of the biggest names in show business from Frank Sinatra and Bob Hope to The Beach Boys, The Eagles, and Ray Charles.

Hunt has lectured at various Universities and Colleges and currently sits on the Advisory Board of Linus Entertainment, a record label distributed by Universal Music.
RICHARD KLOSA :: CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER
Richard Klosa
Richard Klosa is a serial entrepreneur and digital media innovator. He brings more than 10 years of IT development and management experience to the YANGAROO team.

In his previous role as Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of J!VE Media Technologies Inc., Richard led his team to a 2002 Canadian New Media Award for 'Most Promising Company' and recognition from the Branham Group as one of the Top 25 Up and Comers. Richard led the development of one of the first enterprise level digital rights and content syndication systems for digital media assets through decentralized and peer based networks and authored a definitive book on the subject entitled "Building A Working Revenue Model For The Digital Distribution Of Copyrighted Media" (1999).

More recently, Richard has worked with several unique and innovative organizations, focused on providing solutions across a broad range of industries. As the Vice President of Technology at Cubic Health Inc., Richard architected and led the development of the 'Cubic Health Canadian Drug Database™', a comprehensive reporting and analytics system designed to aid Canadian employers in managing their prescription drug benefit.

As the Director of Development at Idealogical Systems, he helped establish and manage a diverse development team focused on building software solutions for mid-sized private and public sector groups, from requirements through to fruition.

Over the past four years, Richard has also focused his time on several leading edge proof-of-concept development projects, including work on an MPEG-4 based Micro-Payment client/server application, an Open Media Distribution Server (web services enabled application for use with home media centers) and an Automated Media Cataloging & Tracking solution utilizing the MPEG-7 framework.

Richard has a passion for the music business. He has enjoyed distinction as a Dance Music producer, having produced and remixed several Gold and Platinum selling records. He enjoys playing drums, keyboard and bass.

Richard graduated from Ryerson University's Radio & Television arts program with an Honours B.A.A and is a certified PMP and Solutions Developer.
JOSH ZIEMAN :: SENIOR VP OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Josh Zieman is a seasoned U.S. based senior executive with over 25 years experience in sales and marketing.

Prior to joining YANGAROO he was Vice President, Marketing at EMI's Manhattan/Blue Note label. Previously he held the positions of General Manager of Papa Joe Records, a division of Geffen Records in Los Angeles, General Manager of major independent label Razor and Tie and Vice President, Marketing at Columbia Records and Mercury Records in New York. Josh also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Binghamton University, New York.

HOWARD ATKINSON
Howard Atkinson is a CFA and CIMA, and is President of BetaPro Funds Management Inc., where he focuses on management of the Horizons BetaPro Funds and Exchange Traded Funds. He brings 20 years of investment management industry experience to the board, including executive positions with Mackenzie Financial Corporation, CI Funds and Barclay's Global Investors Canada Ltd. ŹHe is the immediate Past President of the Toronto CFA Society board of directors and is a member of the S&P/TSX Canada Index Advisory Panel. Mr. Atkinson is the author of "The New Investment Frontier III: A Guide to Exchange Traded Funds for Canadians," and "Les Fonds Nˇgociˇs en Bourse: Un outil de placement novateur pour l'investisseur avisˇ". He has been a contributing writer and frequent analyst reference in many major Canadian newspapers, including The Globe & Mail, National Post, Toronto Star, Vancouver Sun, and Ottawa Citizen. Howard can be seen regularly on BNN (Business News Network) and CP24.
JUSTIN LAFAYETTE
Justin LaFayette is a Director of YANGAROO. Mr. LaFayette is the Director of Product Strategy, Enterprise Master Data Solutions at IBM Software Group. He was a founding partner and Chairman of DWL, which IBM acquired in 2005. DWL creates and markets transactional Internet, Intranet, and Extranet applications and integrates legacy systems. He was responsible for setting the strategic direction for DWL and its product and services. Prior to forming DWL, he worked with NN Financial, one of the ING group of companies from 1993 to 1996.
GARY MOSS
Gary Moss is a Director of YANGAROO. Mr. Moss has held several senior financial roles in the Entertainment industry. Currently he is the Chief Financial Officer for Concert Productions International, previously TGA Entertainment, where he moved after spending nine years with EMI Music Canada as Vice-President of Finance. He held a similar role with Sega of Canada prior to that. Gary also has experience in the Computer, Lumber and Engineering industries. Gary has been actively involved with CRIA (Canadian Recording Industry Association) participating in various music industry initiatives. He is also an active member of CARAS (Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences). He earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Natal (Durban) in South Africa and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Coopers and Lybrand in 1984.

ADVISORY BOARD


RALPH D. DALGARNO
Ralph Dalgarno is a member of the Advisory Board of YANGAROO. Previously he served as a Director of YANGAROO. Mr. Dalgarno is a barrister and solicitor at Aylesworth LLP with a practice focused primarily on securities and commercial transactions including the purchase and sale of assets and shares, mergers and acquisitions, shareholder agreements, corporate organizations and reorganizations, amalgamations, plans of arrangement, disclosure documents, public and private financing, exempt market transactions, complex share provisions and all manner of corporate precedents. Mr. Dalgarno has authored and edited several publications for the legal profession.
PETER DIEMER
Peter Diemer is a member of the Advisory Board of YANGAROO. Previously he served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing of YANGAROO. Peter brings close to 25 years of music and media related knowledge and experience to the Company. From 1990 to 2002, he held the position of Vice President, National Promotion for EMI Music Canada. Prior to that, from 1983 to 1990, he was Director of National Promotion for MCA Records and from 1979 to 1983 Music Director and an On Air Personality at CJAY 92 in Calgary.
DICK GARY
Dick Gary is a member of the Advisory Board of YANGAROO. Mr. Gary is the Chairman and Founder of The Gary Group, the music industryÕs leading advertising agency, providing media planning/placement, creative services and product fulfillment to major music labels, leading independents and distributors for online and offline advertising. The Gary Group has distinguished itself through its 30 year track record of sales success and award-winning creative, working on over 2,000 music-related campaigns a year, including approximately 75% of the 50 Top Selling CDs. Mr. Gary started his career in radio where he rose to become General Manager of a New York City station. He Źhas served on the Board of Directors of the Country Music Association for over 20 years and sits on the Boards of a number of philanthropic organizations.
WOJTEK HOCH
Wojtek Hoch is a member of the Advisory Board and past VP of YANGAROO.

Prior to YANGAROO, Hoch served as Director of New Media & Strategic Planning at EMI/Virgin Music in Canada, where he was responsible for all planning, execution and maintenance of all new media initiatives such as internet, intranet, artist's promotions and new media initiatives. Throughout his tenure at EMI/Virgin Music, Hoch significantly increased traffic to its main Web site by 300%. He was also instrumental in the design, build-out and implementation of its content management system that enabled effective online marketing. Hoch launched numerous online entities including SHOPEMI.com and helped transitioned the company from two marketing sites to 34 artist related sites.

Hoch also served in other leading management positions which include consulting for CGI Information Systems and Management Consultants Inc, where he designed and developed unique content management solutions for various clients such as Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education, He also served as Managing Director of Business Development for Fantastic Media overseeing all marketing campaigns which resulted in overall 100% traffic increase. Hoch was also instrumental in the development of unique systems for rapid prototyping.

Hoch has served as an advisory consultant for industry leading companies such as EMI Music, EMI Publishing, BMG Music, Moon taxi, Oglenet and Etheraction, and Omnicom. He is a Board Member of Nomadic-e! Entertainment wireless. Hoch has studied business and marketing at Tyler College, TX, Ryerson Institute, and York University.
GERRY LACOURSIERE
Gerry Lacoursiere was a Director of YANGAROO and former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of PolyGram/A&M Records Canada, Inc. In September, 1969 he superintended the launch of A & M Records Canada. In October 1990, Mr. Lacoursiere was appointed Chairman of the Polygram Group, overseeing the amalgamation of Polygram, A&M, and Island Records. In January, 1997, Mr. Lacoursiere retired and in March of that year was inducted into the Canadian Music Industry Hall of Fame and was presented by Billboard Magazine, the "Billboard International Business Achievement Award."
GERD LEONHARD
Gerd Leonhard is a well-known digital music & entertainment expert, entrepreneur and executive. He was the Founder, President and CEO of LicenseMusic.com, Inc, the leading web-based music licensing company headquartered in San Francisco, providing high quality repertoire to professionals working in the film, television, advertising, interactive and audio-visual industries worldwide. He is also the Founder and President of DMO/The Digital Marketing Organization and the Music-Entrepreneurs Network, and co-author of the upcoming book 'The Future of Music' (BerkleePress). Mr. Leonhard has spoken at many industry events including Webnoize, MIDEM, MILIA, Streaming Media Europe, DDMI/Digital Distribution of Music Conference, and has lectured at leading schools around the globe including UC Berkeley, University of Colorado, Westminster University London, and Berklee College of Music. He has also been an Expert Adviser to the European Commission in Brussels / Belgium, and a senior consultant with Rightscom Ltd. of London. In 1987, Mr. Leonhard earned a diploma in Performance from Boston's Berklee College of Music after winning Berklee's prestigious Quincy Jones Award for arranging and composing.
GARY MUTH
Gary Muth is an experienced music industry professional with years of high profile entertainment successes to his credit.

Early in his career, Muth held management positions with several multinational music companies recording such artists as The Rolling Stones, Rod Stewart, Peter Gabriel and Black Sabbath. He also served as President of the legendary Canadian independent production company Nimbus 9 Productions Ltd. and it's renowned Soundstage studio complex.

During the 80's, Muth was a partner with Gary Cormier and Gary Topp, in the Toronto concert production company "The Garys," presenting live events with a wide variety of artists such as The Police and Talking Heads.

In the early 90's, together with the Supercorp unit of Canadian brewer John Labatt Limited, Muth formed Elan Entertainment, a broad based company dealing in sound recording, film music, music publishing and arts administration.

In the mid 90's, Muth was President of Frontier Media Inc, a diversified arts and communications company with interests in sound and video production facilities, as well as large scale consumer attractions such as Star Trek: The Exhibit, which toured Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

In the late 90's, Muth co-founded Canada's leading Internet broadcast company, the publicly traded Iceberg Media.com Inc. serving as its Vice President and General Manager. Major shareholders of the company were CHUM Limited, Standard Broadcasting and Newcap Broadcasting, before it was taken private in the summer of 2002 by its present sole owner Standard Broadcasting.
RUPERT PERRY
Rupert Perry spent over thirty years with EMI Music. After joining in 1971 he was responsible for many parts of the company’s record business around the world. He worked in the USA as Vice President of Artist and Repertoire for Capitol Records from 1976 – 1982 and then as President of EMI America from 1982 – 1984. He was sent to Australia in 1985 briefly as Managing Director before returning to London, where he was President of EMI Records UK from 1986 - 1995 and President of EMI Europe from 1995 – 1999. At the same time, he was Chairman of the UK Music Trade Association of British Phonographic Industries (BPI) from 1993 – 1995 and then Chairman of the International Federation of Phonographic Industries (IFPI) European Board from 1998 – 2002. For his services to the British Music Industry he was awarded a CBE (Commander of the British Empire) in the Queens Honour List of 1997 and more recently received the prestigious IFPI Medal for services to the International Recording Industry in 2004. Mr. Perry is now a consultant and serves on various boards.
DAVID STAPLES
David Staples is a member of the Advisory Board and a founder of YANGAROO. David spent over twenty years as an investment advisor at a number of financial services firms, most recently at Octagon Capital Corp. Throughout his investment advisory career David has successfully focused on financing early stage entities in the technology and other sectors. David is a Registered Representative and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree for the University of Toronto.
GARRY WALLACE
Garry Wallace
Garry Wallace holds a BSc degree in Psychology from the University of Toronto and Electronic Technologist diploma in Design from Centennial College. His career experience is as an executive in the technology services industry.

Garry started his career in the Advanced Networking technology Division of Xerox Canada holding positions in Service Management, Systems Sales, Sales Management, General Management, Marketing and Director of Partnering over a 23 year span. In the early 90's Garry joined the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce's strategy office as Director of Sales and Service where he headed a team focused on redesigning their Sales go-to-market strategy. In the mid-90's Garry joined Compaq Computers as Vice President of Services Sales. In 2000 Garry assumed leadership duties at Telepanel Systems as President and CEO bringing multiple rounds of financing to the firm and engaging numerous industry partners.

Currently through his consulting firm "Harbinger Consulting" Garry currently assists technology companies in marketing, sales, management and securing value added funding. Garry currently sits on the Board of Directors of CIUT, a community focused radio station based on the campus of the University of Toronto. As well, Garry is a member of the Board of Directors for the high tech websearch marketing firm, Avalanche Networks.
